cats aren't as bad as you all think

I was sitting here, contemplating what color to paint my nails for the weekend, when I decided I want to start blogging. I don't really care who reads this or what I write about. I just want to write. So after googling "how to name your blog" and asking friends what to name it, I decided on a quote that I absolutely love. I don't know who said it or where I first heard it, but I really like it. I don't know a lot about a lot of things, but I do know a lot about experiences, and I sure do have a lot.

So who am I?

I am a 24 year old living in the suburbs of Chicago, unemployed, living at home, and have no idea what is going to happen to me next. I have lived and traveled the world and had more jobs than the average person. I love friends, coffee, music, and most things that people would call "girly." I live for fighting for equal rights for all people. 

Read this or don't, I don't care. This is for me.

Sidenote: the name of this post comes from my lovely friend Mo. She wanted me to name my blog this because I love my cat, and some people would say I am already/going to be a cat lady.
